Aiguablava

Aiguablava is the most iconic beach in Begur and one of the most beautiful coves on the Costa Brava. Its intense turquoise waters, fine sand and pine-covered surroundings make it one of the most special spots in the Mediterranean.

Aiguablava beach is one of the best options for families, thanks to its calm and shallow waters. It is also ideal for snorkelling, with excellent underwater visibility.

Sa Tuna

Sa Tuna is one of the most picturesque coves in Begur and one of the most recognisable images of the Costa Brava. Its fishermen’s houses by the sea, the boats on the shore and its sheltered setting create a landscape full of Mediterranean charm.

Sa Tuna beach is connected to other coves such as Aiguafreda and Saixugador via the coastal path (Camí de Ronda), allowing you to explore this stretch of coastline on foot while enjoying spectacular views.

It is an ideal cove to combine a scenic walk with a swim in a well-preserved and characterful setting.

Illa Roja

Illa Roja is one of the most unique and recognizable beaches in Begur, famous for the large reddish rock that rises from the sand and gives it its name. It is also one of the best-known beaches in Begur and a landmark of the Costa Brava.

The Illa Roja beach stands out for its spaciousness, its sandy seabed and its scenic beauty. It also features a naturist area and tends to be quite busy during the summer.

Cala d’en Malaret

Cala d’en Malaret can be reached on foot from Hotel Aigua Blava via the coastal path (Camí de Ronda), making it a perfect option for a quick escape to the sea without needing a car.

Its seabed combines sandy, shallow areas at the entrance with rocky sections towards the edges, offering both comfortable swimming and small areas to explore.

Platja Fonda
