Aiguablava

The Aiguablava beach or cove is translated as "blue waters" in English and just as its´ name indicates it´s a small beach with crystalline waters. It´s shallow waters and golden sand make it one of the most famous beaches on the Costa Brava. Located on the Begur coastline it boasts spectacular views of the bay and the cape of Begur.

The beach can be accessed by road or sea and besides sunbathing you can try snorkelling, diving or kayaking. On the beach itself there is a dive centre where you can rent equipment or kayaks by the hour. There are also a couple of restaurans where you can buy lunch or drinks.

Although the beach doesn´t attract mass tourism, in July and August it can get quite busy so we recommend that you go early to get a good spot on the sand.

In the majority of the medium and larger beaches you´ll find small restaurants where you can taste the local food while enjoying sea views.
